    The new store manager fired meover the phone onthe day Iwas moving into college and went digging tofind something toget mefired, after 6months ofworking there. Prior tothis, she wouldn’t let mework during school when itstarted, and wasn’t sure ifi was going tobe back after school ended inthe winter. Also, she wouldn’t let metransfer toa different GWstore that was closer tomy school for meto beable towork. Icame towork everyday inhot, sweaty heat for GWand didn’t receiveany respect. The store manager isrude, disrespectful, and doesn’t care about her workers. Not bashing GWof Westport, because the workers are awesome, Iloved myjob and what Iused todo, but not thinking about your employees situations outside ofwork instead ofimmediately firing them for noreason isridiculous. Which iswhy Ido not recommend Westport GWas aplace towork. Definitely don’t want tobe ata place ofwork that doesn’t respect nor appreciate their employees.– show

            I have shopped here for several years and have found many great things. Mylast two visits Inoticed anincredibly strong, toxic smell when Ishopped. The last time Ithought itwas some new cleaner being used. When Iasked today, Iwas told itwas anew air purifier and she pointed toit. Honestly, itis sobad Iwon't beshopping here again. Ithas tobe its own biohazard. The smell lingers inyour hair and clothing. Ican't bethe only one who things this isthe worst addition tothe store. Ijust hope you are not rolling them out atall the other stores. Iwill continue toshop atthe Fairfield and Norwalk location. Won't beshopping inthe Westport GWanymore. Iwill still drop off donations.– show

These air freshening systems are commonplace being utilized inretail stores, restaurants, hotel chains, and big box retailers around the country.

              The scents and system weuse are globally accepted meeting risk management concerns and adhere to
              environmental, social, and economic safety standards incompliance with the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) and regulators. All ingredients inthese scents are rigorously assessed for toxicity and allergens. Scents used inour stores are oil-based, hypo-allergenic, produce nodroplets, and comply with the highest level ofsafety standards. Wehope you will give our Westport location achance for amuch better shopping experience inthe future!

                              I have shopped atother Connecticut Goodwill with noissue.
                              This store, Istarted towalk inand anemployee asked ifI had aface covering. Ihad ascarf type covering, which iswhat I've been wearing inALL stores. She pointed toa sign, which stated “face covering required” Ipointed tomy “scarf” and said “that's what this is” and she said “no. You need tohave what's inthe picture”
                              Rude, obnoxious, and TOTALLY wrong onher part.
                              Teach your employees what the executive order actually says.
                              Face covering. Mask, scarf, bandanna,etc.
                              For the record, this was Wednesday, February 24at approximately5:10PM

                                  On Saturday Jan 30I shopped this store for acouple hours inthe morning. Unfamilliar with the store, Ihad quite afew questions and found the sales staff sopleasant and helpful. The setup, organization and merchandising ofthe store isoutstanding! Marianna, the associate who checked meout, was exceptionally helpful. Her customer service, patience, and work ethic isquite impressive- this woman isa true asset toyour organization.

                                        The plus side isthis isone ofthe most cleanest and organized Goodwill‘s I’ve gone tothe bad side iseverything isso overpriced example inone ofthe glass cases they had aPolaroid 600land camera that when Iwent tothe Goodwill inBoston PostRd., Milford they had one for $5.99and other Goodwill’s have been the same from five to$15here they had itfor $65which iscrazy and outrageous considering the other ones Isaw were the same type of600land camera same color and everything someof them and that abrand new one cost only $35more. But that’s just myexperience somethings are just way too overpriced considering they get them for free.– show

                                          This store isa disaster. It’s not your typical goodwill. Everything ismarked uplike crazy. Good luck finding ashirt under $15. Jeans gofor around $25and jackets are around $50. The employees claim corporate isforcing them tomark them upbut other locations donot and are accessible tolow income individuals. Management needs totake notice. This isabsolutely insane.
