This visual art exhibition invites visitors to engage with art that centers undocumented community members’ stories through a wide variety of mediums, including photography, illustrations, filmsand animations. At a time when people who are undocumented are often demonized as “other” for political gain, the art in this exhibit invites us to look past our differences and find our shared humanity.The exhibition is part of Motus’ event series “There no THEM in U.S.”, a celebration of art and stories that help US in the U.S recognize our shared humanity through powerful personal stories at the intersections between immigrant rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, racial justice and criminal legal reform.

Pride Brunch at My Neighbor Felix

This June, My Neighbor Felix’s LoHi location will be celebrating all things Pride with two limited-edition margaritas. Museo de las Americas is honored to present its newest exhibition, Espiritu Hermosx/Beautiful Spirit, an innovative exploration into contemporary LGBTQ+ Latinx artists' diverse experiences. Through novel and traditional practices, 10 artists highlight the breadth and possibility of identity stemming from their experiences of double marginalization as Latinx and queer individuals. Pride in the Pines: A Queer Summer Camp Horror Cabaret

For many young queers, summer camp was a way to explore their sexuality while away from their parents and their normal lives, surrounded by peers who excited them.But coming out isn't always great. Even with this opportunity to explore, young queers still faced stigma and shame. Pride in the Pines is all about this experience and combines the experience of summer camp through horror elements in the burlesque and drag mediums. You can expect a night of storytelling, of gay pride — but also shame. You can expect to be aroused and excited — but also uncomfortable and sick. This show will put you in the experience of what it means to be a queer in summer camp.

Show off your Pride at this family-friendly and kid-focused event! Bring your friends and family to enjoy games, crafts and more.
